The 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held on November 5-10 at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC). The Italian Trade Agency, under the wing of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), has joined forces with around 50 Italian companies. Visitors explored multiple aspects of Italian culture traditions thanks to BeIT “Italian Nation Branding campaign”. It particularly highlights Italian’s innovations in nine economic sectors, including design, automobile, aerospace, environment, food & beverage, fashion, machinery, health care, culture and entertainment, demonstrating Italy’s leading position in global commerce and culture.
The Guancha portal dedicated an article to the Italian Pavilion at the CIIE 2022. the Trade Commissioner of ITA Shanghai. There is an interview given by Augusto Di Giacinto, Director of the ICE Agency in Shanghai: “The CIIE will strengthen global economic cooperation and trade. Furthermore, this event will foster closer economic cooperation between Italy and China”. Read more
