Starting from its first edition in 2018, the China International Import Expo could count on the presence of an Italian Pavilion managed by ICE Agenzia. In 2018 ICE Agenzia attended with a national institutional pavilion and four commercial pavilions dedicated to industrial technology, agribusiness, life science and consumer goods. For the second edition in 2019 ICE Agenzia focused on organising a national institutional pavilion, presenting Italy as a Guest of Honor of the exhibition.

For this year’s edition the companies under ICE Agenzia’s coordination will be assigned to three different commercial pavilions, the first one dedicated to 17 companies of the jewelry sector , the second one to 11 companies of the medical sector and the third one dedicated to 6 companies of the environmental technology sector. In addition to these two pavilions there will also be an Italian Cultural Heritage Pavilion, focused on the enhancement of the UNESCO heritage sites of the country.

This way the Italian presence at the fair will be focused on two sectors that are extremely important for offering new opportunities to Italian export towards the Chinese market and on the other hand on the enhancement of Italian culture and history, two key elements of attraction of the country.
