On 6th November ITA Shanghai Director Massimiliano Tremiterra, as part of the collateral activities prepared on the occasion of the third edition of the CIIE in Shanghai, attended an important Live streaming event organized by China Media Group (the main Chinese communication group that includes CCTV, CNR and CRI. The experience was very positive.

In recent months, product sales through live streaming models have experienced an exponential development in the Chinese market, allowing for the exposure of brands simultaneously on different marketing channels.

The event coordinated with the support of all the Italian Institutions in China (Italian Embassy, ITA and Italian Chamber of Commerce in China) called “Ecco Italia” was presented by two of the most “famous celebrities” of Chinese digital media Kang Hui of China Media Group and Austin Li (the number one of KOLs in China) and it was opened by a video recorded speech by the Italian Ambassador in China, Mr Ferrari.

The Italian products presented were selected among those present in Alibaba’s TMALL Italian pavilion Hello ITA (13 total brands including: Barilla, De Longhi, Acqua Panna, Rilastil, Moschino, Marvis etc.) and recorded extraordinary sales results. In fact, in a few hours, sales were made for a value of more than 4.5 million euros!
